New pictures!

I know you wouldn't believe it by looking at my blog, but we have a ton of pictures of our little family due to my mom and her wonderful camera. (Andy, I know you agree.) Unfortunately I just don't get around to posting a whole lot. This past week, Andy's brother Eddie and his wife Michelle were here from Ohio with their SUPER CUTE new baby Carson. They blessed him while they were here and we also decided to get some family pictures. My mom did the pictures and they turned out fantastic! She is not yet done editing the GAZILLION that she took. I will post some more of the rest of the family when they are finished. I was so excited for these pictures so they can get displayed in our new house someday! Hopefully they won't be completely outdated by the time we finally move in. Let me know what you think.

P.S. I love getting family pictures! I think it's because my family is so cute and I just can't wait to show them to all the blogger stalkers out there!!

Future site of Hutchison Manor!!!

Well Mallory and I are about to enter the exciting, yet very stressful adventure of building our first home. We have been wanting to build for some time now but just never really felt like we were able to, especially with the high cost of building lots througout Cache Valley. We finally found a new subdivision in Smithfield with prices that were a little more reasonable. (For those of you also looking to build, we could use some friendly neighbors!!!) The sudivision is right across the street from the Blue Sox complex. It will be a really nice area with lots of new families that we can get to know. We are pretty excited, ground breaking will begin on Monday (9/8/2008). Hopefully we will be able to keep updated posts throughout. I hope that Mallory and I will still be married in the next 4-8 months as I am all too aware of how difficult it can be to build a house. TOO MANY DECISIONS!!!

Tired-athalon

Well I guess I will take a turn posting on our blog. Today was a Tri-athalon at the Sports Academy. Me and my apparently bull legged, mole infested, nintendo nerd wife decided we would participate. My sister Tami has been trying to get me to do one of these with her for a year or so now and I really wanted to but just never got around to it. This one was much shorter than the ones she does but we gotta start somewhere. Our race started with a 150 yard swim, then a 2.5 mile bike ride, then a 1.5 mile run. When we were ready to start I looked at the other participants in our age group and we were easily the oldest. I was a little embarrassed knowing I was about to get my butt kicked by a bunch of kids younger than me but I will get over it. The race went well exept for some serious drama associated with my sister and her three kids. I am sure she will tell the stories on her blog so go check out Tami and Brent from our friends list if you are interested. Mallory and I tied with a time somewhere around 41 minutes. We are going to be paying the price of the lack of training before hand. We both really thought it wouln't be as hard as it was. It was pretty fun to be apart of that and I hope that next year I can do one of the longer distances with the adults instead of the kiddy race. We'll see.

Me, interesting?

After reading others blogs, I noticed that mine doesn't make my life sound exciting. Contrary to what others may say, I think I am a pretty exciting person. I have decided to post 10 somewhat interesting and possibly unknown facts about myself. After all, what good is having a blog if you can't make yourself sound better than you are?

1. I love Harry Potter. I just keep reading them over and over. (My mom is begging me to read Twilight so we can talk about it, but I just can't leave Harry.)

2. My favorite sport is Softball. (I used to pitch when I was younger.)

3. I am very competitive. Andy's knows he can get me to do something by telling me that someone else is better at it than me. (Don't get me wrong though, I can admit if I am not good at something and I am not a sore loser.)

4. I love to dance.

5. I am slightly bull-legged. (I found this out when I was on the Drill Team and we lined up for the kick-line. I had to try extra hard to keep my knees together.)

6. I have a mole on my leg that was once removed but decided to come back with avengeance. (TMI?)

7. I am definitely NOT a morning person.

8. My favorite time of day is when I am in bed and reading Harry Potter.

9. I am very good at Mario-Kart for N64. (Andy gets frustrated with this one.)

10. Last but not least, I have been skydiving in Hawaii!! (Yes I had to talk Andy into doing this one with me, but in the end he did and it was awesome!!)

Beautiful Girl!

Alright, I am finally going to post something before my mom has a heartattack. Although, I must say, these pictures are definitely worth posting! My mom took these pictures a few days ago in a wheat field near their house. They turned out so cute!!

P.S. I love your camera mom (and you)

Alli's Birthday Party

Alli turned one year old this past week. It's amazing how time flies! Gone are the days when she would just sit on your lap during church. Gone are the days when she would hold still so I could wipe her snotty nose. She has quite the sassy personality. You would think she was turning 17. She says "hi, ball, and baby." She waves, blows kisses and started taking a few steps on her own at 11 months and has almost got it down. She is so much fun and life would be so boring without her!! We had a party for her on Saturday the 19th. We had a waterslide, slip n' slide and a fish pond with prizes. She dove right into her cake and made a huge mess. We had a blast! Thanks to everyone who came. Unfortunately we did not get pictures of everyone who was there. We were sad because 7 of her cousins couldn't be there. Most of them live far away so that is understandable.
